About the Owner

Marnie Rorholm is an MBA PhD in Leadership Studies, who has been told (but is still verifying) that she is a direct descendant of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots. Don't know who that is? Watch the movie "Braveheart".

King Robert's daughter was Princess Margaret de Bruce or "Marjorie", who completed significant writing works during her seven years imprisoned by the Crown. Marnie, by comparison, has 30+ years writing experience in the corporate world (same vibe). The plaid is the official tartan of Clan Bruce of Kiinaird, and the inspiration for MBWW's brand colors.

Through her masters and doctoral work, Dr. Rorholm has become intimately familiar with academic writing and the scholarly tools that go with it: peer review, proofreading, transcription and she practically sleeps with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition under her pillow.

In addition, she has worked extensively in higher education, municipal government and non-profits. Well versed in all sized grants, foundational to Federal, Marnie has raised over $25M in funding for operations and capital projects. She is familiar with proposals and copywriting, including B2B, SEO, CRM and AI (used sparingly!).

A fiction writer herself, Marnie can assist with all creative projects, from simple proofreading and transcription, to high level narration, storytelling and ghost-writing. A versatile senior writer, she is proficient in attention to detail with superlative communication and interpersonal skills.

Marnie (Margerie!) is excited to learn about your next project and how she can craft compelling, clear, and engaging content. Let's work together to tailor your thoughts to diverse audiences, while ensuring consistency and results-oriented tone, style, and accuracy. Make MBWW work for you...because Writing Works!
